Africa Transport Policy Program (SSATP) holds AGM 

The Africa Transport Policy Program (SSATP) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe from 25 – 29 November 2019. The meeting addressed the areas of road safety and reflected on the implementation of the current development plan (DP3). The team further worked on designing the preliminary structure of the next development plan (DP4), which runs from 2021 to 2025. The focus for this period are on resilient road asset management, sustainability of the transport sector in Africa, decarbonising transport modes and using digital technologies to revolutionise. As always, regional connectivity and economic integration will play a key role.
